Megatron held her hand tightly as he led her through the tunnels. She kept close, trying to remember how many turns it would take to get back to their room. It was just a mess of hallways to her and each turn left her more and more disoriented. She whined a little, earning a backwards glance from the ancient vampire. He merely smiled reassuringly and told her that she would quickly grow use to it.

She made to sneer at him but froze as he pushed a large curtain aside. A young man was hog-tied on the ground and gagged tightly so that he could not make a sound. His eyes were wide and rolling in his head, no doubt trying to see something in the pitch blackness of the room. Megatron smiled at the sight and motioned for her to move towards the boy.

"Feed," he purred. "You need it."

She walked slowly over to the boy and knelt down. She took his chin gently in her hand and tilted his face towards her. His eyes roamed over her face, the hope gleaming sadly before her. She shook her head sadly as she tilted his head to the side, exposing the pumping jugular. She pressed her mouth to the pulsing vein and whispered a soft apology before she bit down hard.

Her fangs did not slice through the flesh as easily as Megatron's would have and she hated herself for it. The boy screamed around his gag and started thrashing vainly to escape. She easily held him, feeling the space where her heart was still faintly beating swell with misery. She bit down harder and twisted her head around, trying to tear the flesh away so she could get at the blood. She felt every twitch the boy made to break out of her tight grip and wanted to sob.

When she finally broke through the skin to get at the blood, she wound up with more blood down her front than in her mouth. But the tiny amount that she did get was enough to send her into a frenzy. Her mouth latched onto the wound she had inflicted and sucked back all the blood without stopping. Her body screamed for it, wanting all of it and nothing less. She could feel it racing down her neck and chest, staining her dress and body, but she didn't care.

After what felt like an eternity of feeding Megatron's arms wrapped around her shoulders. With very little effort, he dragged her off of her prey and held her close. He licked the blood that had leaked down her face and purred gently as the boy's body fell to the ground with a very sick thud. She stared at the mess she had made and felt her knees give out. Only Megatron's arms stopped her from falling to the floor gracelessly.

"What have you done to me?" she whimpered.

"Sssh," he murmured as he licked the last traces of blood out of her collar. "It will get easier. When your fangs grow in fully you will not leave such devastation behind. Your prey will look like they are sleeping. It gets easier, my love, I promise."

Starscream turned and hid her face in his chest, her body shaking with sobs. His arms tightened around her and she could feel his lips in her hair. He was a strong wall against the horrors of the world she was being forced into. She clung to him and sobbed heavily. His hands settled on the back of her neck and the small of her back.

"We have places to go," he whispered. "Before this night is out, something has to be done. Something very important."

His hands steadied her as he gently moved her onto the side of his body. When she wasn't waving about unsteadily, he started walking with her towards the hallway. She was grateful to leave the carcass behind her, but she had a horrifying sense of dread. Something told her that was not the last mutilated body she would see that night.

Megatron directed her into a large room, not much bigger than their own room, and smiled reassuringly. The room was full of the vampires, their eyes following her as Megatron weaved his way between them. Many gave her sceptical looks, others were filled with joy, and a few were smiling and nodding. She stepped closer to Megatron, looking up at him desperately, but he ignored her terrified expression.

She could see a hanging figure in the center of the room and felt her heart give a terrified thud in her chest. The figure was hanging by their feet above a deep basin set on four stone feet. Something was dripping off of the figure's face and falling into the basin with a soft "plip-plop". Megatron led her over to the basin and she almost threw up; it was a young woman hanging there and her throat was sliced wide open. Blood was running from the open wound and cascading slowly into the basin.

"What is going on?" she whimpered.

"Don't worry," Megatron replied as he walked over to a low-lying table and picked a large goblet up. "The human never felt a thing…after a few moments."

She shivered and watched as Megatron dipped the goblet into the basin of blood. He pulled it back out and smiled gently as he pulled her closer. He directed her hand onto the base of the goblet as he balanced the actual cup between his fingers far too elegantly to not make her resent him for a moment. It vanished as his hand settled gently on her waist and drew her closer so that he could trail his mouth over her ear.

"Repeat after me," he whispered to her. "Blood is the life-giver."

"Blood is the life-giver," she repeated shakily.

"Each drop refills what was taken."

"Each drop refills what was taken."

"Blood binds us to one another; living and dead."

"Blood binds us to one another; living and dead."

"With this blood, I bind myself to you," he purred, his eyes flashing in delight.

Her mouth went dry and she stared at him in terror. "W-w-with this b-b-blood, I bind myself to you," she squeaked in confusion.

He tipped the goblet towards him and lifted the rim to his lips. She watched him drink the blood with a growing sense of confusion. He was drinking too, but she was positive that he had wanted to bind her to him. Was it possible that he wanted to be with her too?

After he was finished with his drink, he tipped the glass towards her. She carefully manoeuvred the glass to her mouth and took a sip of the blood. It tasted very sweet, intoxicatingly so, and she almost didn't want to keep it down. She swallowed one mouthful and pulled away, pressing her hand to her mouth in semi-disgust.  Megatron smiled and chuckled, reaching out to brush her cheek.

"Drink the rest," he coaxed.

She grumbled a little, wrinkling her nose in disgust. But she tipped the goblet back to her lips and drank the remaining blood. She was certain that it was dripping down her face and she hated the sensation. She swallowed the last drop and coughed, shaking her head in an attempt to dislodge the taste. Megatron chuckled at her as he took the goblet away from her. She watched him place it back on the table and noted that he looked almost unnaturally happy.

His arms wrapped tightly around her waist and she felt her feet leave the ground as he held her close. She clung to his shoulders in surprise, blinking up at him as he smiled down at her. She felt a bubble pop somewhere in her gut and smiled shyly up at him. Without even thinking about it; or the watchers for that matter; she leant up and kissed him. His hand flew up to grip the back of her head, pressing her closer as the kiss heated up.

He was the first to pull away, his eyes full of lust. She could feel his hot breath making the baby-fine hairs on her hairline curl. She let out a soft whine and leant on him, her eyes wavering in and out of focus at the closeness of his body. The cheers and hollers of the crowd were drowned out by the roar of blood in her ears and the slowly gaining speed of her heart-beat. She turned her gaze on her chest, her mouth opening in confusion before Megatron nuzzled her.

He easily led her out of the room, ignoring the cat-calls of the other vampires. He cooed for her to keep up, his eyes flashing gently as she sped up. She was surprised when they followed a tunnel heading up instead of down farther into the cave system. She gasped in surprise as fresh air touched her face and she raced past Megatron. Her heart was hammering as she burst out into the cold night air and inhaled the air deeply.

She could sense the approaching dawn and it sent off warning signals in her body. She looked around, wondering where the night-noises were. She could faintly hear rustling in the bushes not far from her and tilted her head.

"They don't come near the cave," Megatron cooed as he stepped up beside her and nuzzled her neck. "They fear our kind as they fear humans. They are not quite as stupid as humans think."

"But the sun…," she murmured.

"Is no threat," he chuckled before he took her hands and kissed her palms. "Listen carefully."

He leant in close and whispered something into her ear. Her brain reacted sluggishly to the words, each syllable reverberating inside her skull. The words were on loop in her brain and slowly she began to understand what they meant. It was a spell, a transformation spell to be exact, and Megatron was telling her to concentrate on an animal form. She closed her eyes and sighed softly, the image of a raven filling her mind.

She felt his arms leave her and opened her eyes. She was staring face to face with a raven, the dark red eyes stopping her from freaking out. The raven leant in close and pressed his beak against hers, a deep croak issuing from his throat. She returned the croak, hopping closer to preen his wings. He rubbed his beak against her neck before he let out a deep chuckle.

"Come, Starscream, it is time to see the world through your proper eyes," Megatron purred.

Without even hesitating, she spread her wings and took to the sky. Life suddenly fell into place as it had never done before.
And after a long wait, here's part nine! And we finally get Starscream into the coven and Megatron is happy ^w^
